ERG is a small reading group that I coordinate. It is a replacement for the reading group that Fred Moulton used to run (here are the books which that group discussed).

ERG tentatively stands for Extropian Reading Group, although I don't want to attach too much weight to that.

ERG meetings typically have 6 to 8 people attending, which I think is about the right size. There are 17 people on the mailing list as of November 2000. I am somewhat selective about allowing new people to get added to the list, usually requiring that the new person be recommended by an active member. If you ever want me to foward a message to the group, be sure that the subject line starts with "ERG:" (which tentatively stands for Extropian Reading Group).
